Why would you like to join the Police Force? (100 words minimum): I enjoy the role play that being apart of the Police Force brings, the laughter, the anger and the tears (usually from laughter). Being a part of the Police Force is like being a part of another community where people care for each other and what they're doing, it opens doorways to different kinds of role play and unique situations. These situations are what make the Arma experience for me. I would love to be a part of these unique situations on this server and strongly believe I can contribute to making the server a more fun place to be for everyone.
What makes a good Officer in your opinion? (100 words minimum): A good officer is made up of a few traits:
-Patience. I believe that officers require the patience to deal with situations a normal civilian wouldn't, there are many unique situations which cannot and should not just end in a gun fight, this requires the officer to be patient and attentive to not only the SOP's but also the rules. I believe I have a lot of patience.
-Humour. I believe humour is a big factor in being a police officer, while training and booklets can get you so far, the sheer amount of complex scenarios there are, can't prepare you for every encounter, I believe that everyone on the server is trying to have fun (that't the main goal) and a lot of people achieve this by getting a rise out of police officer (usually by doing silly and annoying things). I believe that these situations are better handled when the officer dealing has a greater sense of humour, the ability to sense satire, have a laugh and focus on other things. Humour coupled with patience is what is definitely required in the attitude of a police officer. Many people describe me as a rather humerous person, happy to take jokes.
- Skills. While patience and humour is a very good trait to have while dealing with the civilians, one thing you're definitely going to need is skill. The whole point of being on the Police Force is to protect the civilians from danger, this makes being less skilled player pretty useless to the force. With almost 2000 hours on Arma 3, I believe I understand the game in an in-depth manor.
